SOCK-FREE SHOES

Gray Malin x Sperry

Since 1953, Sperry Topsider has specialised in high quality deck shoes, celebrating quintessential American style. Indeed the brands founder, Mr Paul Sperry, is widely credited with inventing the non-slip deck shoe. For their latest collection, Sperry have collaborated with Gray Malin, a California based photographer. Known for his aerial shots, he captures life moments and creates images that celebrate the spirit of the sea. Inspired by a shot of his feet dangling over the beaches of Chicago, Gray reached out to Sperry to create a capsule collection featuring three of his most famous photographs.

"The theme of the collection is artistic beach imagery translated onto iconic style, allowing you to bring the essence of escape into your everyday wardrobe and lifestyle," explains Malin. The unisex collection offers three classic styles: boat shoes, slip-ons, and lace ups. Personally I'm drawn to the iconic deck shoe, but whichever style you choose, they are sure to liven up your warm weather wardrobe.

You can shop the collaboration starting March 25 at Sperry.com and select Sperry retail stores.
