Generic Man x Comme des Garcons

Collaborations come and go, and most are forgotten, but after eight seasons it seems this particular pairing is a match made in sneaker heaven. California-based footwear brand The Generic Man have teamed up with the cult Japanese fashion label Comme des Garcons SHIRT to create a collection of sneakers that highlights the aesthetics and styles of both brands. 

For Spring/Summer 15 Rei Kawakubo merged Commes des Garcon SHIRT's unique prints and patterns with high end materials and casual wearability. The paisley pattern suede are my personal favorite, with the blue and white stripe slip-ons a close runner up. Sneakers may be ubiquitous, but in this case, they're certainly not generic.
