J.Crew, known for it's contemporary take on classic menswear, has teamed up with the Alden Shoe Company to create an exclusive two-capsule collection. Alden, founded in Middleborough, Massachusetts by Charles H. Alden in 1884, has a reputation for producing quality bench made shoes. For J.Crew they have created a classic tassel loafer, handcrafted from brown Alpine grain leather, and a Dover Oxford, made from Horween Chromexcel (as good as it gets when it comes to American-tanned leather). Featuring all of Alden's signature details, including a full Goodyear welt, these limited edition kicks should last you a lifetime.
